Well, you certainly have a dark outlook on things. There are quite a few people working to help both children and other needy people all over the world. So while the tabloids might be filled with the tragic stories some people genuinely feel and act for them! At least there is some hope.

And if we could only manage to sort things out and find an equitable distribution of wealth we could provide all children with an education and save them from this misery.
